Time to get ready for the Summer Swimmers Meet
It is perhaps the best event of the NAA Season; the Summer Swimmers Championship Meet. And, it’s this Saturday, July 23rd at Valleycrest Pool. If you’ve not been to the Summer Swimmers Meet before, you’ve been missing out. This meet is open only to those athletes who have not recently competed in winter aquatic sports. It is structured without the Open category or relays because it has the potential to be huge! For complete details, see the attached Summer Swimmers meet package.

Calendar Update for Diving Judges and Coaches
We’ve made an update to the 2016 Calendar that affects coaches and judges for diving.
The Coach’s Clinic has been moved to June 25th with the time and location yet to be announced.
The Coaches Meeting is still on June 28th at 7pm.
The Judges’ Clinic has been moved to July 2nd with the time and location yet to be announced.
NAA Meeting #1 is a wrap
The first NAA meeting of the season is in the books and there is lots to talk about. We’ll have an updated Constitution here on the website in the coming days to reflect changes voted on at the meeting this evening.
We’ve also got a brand new VP of Swimming. We thank Jason Galet for his service. He’ll hand the swimming baton to David Emory who is well known to the NAA with years of swim coaching experience. Dave’s contact information is on the NAA Executive page.
There are numerous updates to the calendar including a Guppy Swim Meet at VYC (for swimmers 6 and under) and a Lifeguard challenge at WES. You’ll also see that Synchro Prelims are on the same dates as scheduled but have changed from A-Division and B-Division to Solo and Duet Prelims on one day and Team Prelims on the next day.
