We’ve got the Junior and Senior Prelim results now posted on the 2018 Synchro page. These results have some influence on the draws to be done for finals as the top six competitors in each event are guaranteed to compete in the last six spots so we do draws for the top six, then the rest of the competitors to figure out the complete order of competition. Any team can win the event no matter what order they swim in though so bring your best game at Finals! We’ll be posting the draws for Junior and Senior Finals shortly.

Synchro updates
We’ve got updates on the Prelims draws with some scratches. Also, the draws for the Pre-Junior Synchro Finals are now available. You can find it all on the 2018 Synchro page!
Synchro Prelim Draws are online!
Synchro Draws are completed for Junior and Senior Prelims. Why do we call them draws? Because we literally draw tickets from a hat… Ok, it’s not really a hat. It’s usually a collection of Zip Lock bags – but you get the idea. This determines the order of competition in the Junior and Synchro Prelim events. Once those are completed, we’ll need to draw again for the finals which are done somewhat differently.

Synchro scores now all posted
We’ve got the last of the Synchro scores entered and posted. You can see these on the 2017 Synchro page. Our thanks to all the hosting pools for Synchro events and our congratulations to all our athletes from Pre-Junior, Junior and Senior levels competing in the Individual, Duet and Team events!
Synchro Prelim results

Synchro Draws for Pre-Junior Finals and Jr. Sr Prelims
Every year the Synchro coaches meet to determine the order of competition for the Synchronized Swimming competitions. At the first meeting that was just held, team names were put into a hat (ok it was a bag) and the names are drawn out one at a time. The draws for the Pre-Junior Synchro Finals on August 9th are now set as are those for the Junior and Senior Preliminary competitions. We will be drawing again for Junior and Senior Finals after the Preliminaries as the results of the prelims affect the order of the finals. Calendar Update
We have updated the 2017 Calendar with the following information:
As a reminder, coaches have must-attend meetings on the following dates:
- Monday June 26 – Waterpolo. Glenmore at 7:00 PM
- Tuesday June 27th – Diving. Fairview at 7:00 PM
- Wednesday June 28th – Swimming. Elm Park at 4:30 PM
- Thursday June 29th – Synchro. Elm Park at 7:00.
These meetings are mandatory for your head coaches.
Also, the Diving Judges Clinic will be held Thursday June 29th at the Dorval Community center at 7:00. Please contact Elyssa for further details.
It’s an all new 2017 Constitution!
We’ve updated the Constitution for 2017 and you can view or download it here on the NAA site at your convenience. The Constitution has been updated with all approved and voted-on changes as of May 16, 2017. You can click on the Constitution button at the top of the screen, in the menu on the left of the screen or just click here to go to NAA Constitution.
All 2016 NAA Synchronized Swimming Results now online
What a season it was! The synchronized swimmers will think of their teammates and their parents will be unable to forget snippets of overplayed music until next spring. The results of the NAA Synchro competitions are now all online on the 2016 Synchro page. Our congratulations to Westminster for winning both the Pre-Junior competition and the overall trophy, to Valleycrest who won the Junior trophy and Thorndale who won senior.
