Point Claire Diving Tryouts
The Pointe Claire Diving team is having free tryouts on July 11, 12, 13, 14 and August 7, 8 and 9. Participants do not need to attend all the days, just one so they can do a quick evaluation tryout.

Diving results
There are diving results to be seen on the 2017 Diving page. We have results from week 1 and partial results from weeks 2 and 3 so far. There were two meets postponed due to weather so we’ll have those results later.

2017 Swim Relays results of the coin toss
Every year the Constitution requires that we toss a coin (yes, I mean literally throw a coin into the air) to determine which relays will be medley versus freestyle in the Time Trials and Big Meet at the end of the season. 8 and under and 9-10 age categories are always freestyle so we only have to toss a coin for the 11’s and up. Here are the results for 2017:

Synchro Draws for Pre-Junior Finals and Jr. Sr Prelims
Every year the Synchro coaches meet to determine the order of competition for the Synchronized Swimming competitions. At the first meeting that was just held, team names were put into a hat (ok it was a bag) and the names are drawn out one at a time. The draws for the Pre-Junior Synchro Finals on August 9th are now set as are those for the Junior and Senior Preliminary competitions. We will be drawing again for Junior and Senior Finals after the Preliminaries as the results of the prelims affect the order of the finals. Waterpolo page updated
As some of you may have noticed, the Waterpolo schedule didn’t have all the weeks in the correct order. We’ve done an update to the page which should have things looking a bit better now.

Waterpolo Schedules now available
The 2017 Dual Meet schedule for waterpolo is now available on the Waterpolo page. The schedule shows the Men’s and the Under 12 category in one grid and the women’s schedule in a second grid.

Diving Judges Clinic Thursday, June 29th
On Thursday, June 29th at 7pm, the NAA will be giving a diving judges clinic for those interested in being a diving judge during our summer NAA diving competitions. We encourage each pool who are participating in diving to send at least one person. There is no previous diving experience required.
The clinic will be held at the Dorval Community Centre, room 202.

Constitution updated as of June 20th
The NAA Constitution was updated for the 2017 season following votes in our first two meetings of the year. This June 20th version is the final version for the 2017 competitive season. You can download or access the Constitution on the NAA Constitution page.
